Hello everyone, and apologies for the lack of discussion recently. The posts I wrote about the myths of motorcycles saving money generated some good questions about my views on hybrid cars. I’m putting together a post that looks at the Toyota Prius, which is generally recognized as the gold standard in hybrid technology. With estimated fuel efficiency numbers of 48 miles per gallon city and 51 highway, the prevailing wisdom is that a Prius belongs in the driveway of every frugal consumer.
Well, leave it to your truly to see things differently. I know this forthcoming post is sure to generate some controversy, so bear with me while I put the finishing touches on it. Thanks.
